Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros | Limited Deluxe Hardcover

From Our Special Edition Box

📖 About this Book

Return to the world of Fourth Wing with Threshing Day, a companion collection set in Rebecca Yarros’s bestselling Empyrean universe.

Rather than continuing Violet and Xaden’s story after Onyx Storm, this book takes readers back to one of the most important moments in every rider’s life: Threshing Day, when cadets face the brutal trial of being chosen by a dragon.

Across thirteen stories, we experience that legendary day through characters including Xaden Riorson, Rhiannon Matthias, Dain Aetos, Liam Mairi, Ridoc Gamlyn, Sawyer Henrick, Garrick Tavis, Imogen Cardulo, Bodhi Durran, Mira and Brennan Sorrengail, Aaric Graycastle and Sloane Mairi.

Important: This is a companion collection, not Empyrean Book 4.

❤️ Why Sumaia Recommends It

★★★★★

For anyone already obsessed with the Empyrean world, this feels like being allowed into all the rooms we weren't supposed to see.

I love that instead of simply retelling Violet’s experience, we finally get to see Threshing through so many familiar characters. It adds more depth to the dragons, the bonds between riders and dragons, and characters we have spent three books getting attached to.

And this limited deluxe edition is exactly the kind of edition I love having on the shelf. It is both a reading experience and a collector’s piece.
