๐ About this Book
Author Grady Green is having the best and worst day of his life. While speaking to his wife Abby on the phone, he hears her suddenly stop the car and get out. Then the call goes silent.
When Grady reaches the scene, Abbyโs car is abandoned near a cliff. The headlights are still on, the driverโs door is open, and her phone is inside, but Abby has vanished.
A year later, still consumed by grief and unable to write, Grady retreats to a tiny, isolated Scottish island hoping to rebuild his life. Instead, he sees something impossible: a woman who looks exactly like his missing wife.
What follows is a dark psychological thriller about marriage, secrets, obsession and revenge, where almost nothing is as it first appears.ย

โค๏ธ Why Sumaia Recommends It
Alice Feeney really knows how to make you question absolutely everything.
I love the isolated Scottish setting because it makes the whole story feel eerie and claustrophobic from the beginning. Grady is grieving, confused and desperate for answers, so you are never completely sure whether you can trust what he is seeing.
This is one of those thrillers where the atmosphere matters just as much as the twists. Dark, strange, unsettling and very addictive.
