๐ About this Book
Enter a dark, seductive fantasy world of vampires, kingdoms, political intrigue, dangerous magic, and forbidden desire in Scarlett St. Clairโs Adrian x Isolde series.
In King of Battle and Blood, Princess Isolde de Lara agrees to marry the feared vampire king Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev to end a devastating war. Her plan is simple: marry him, then kill him. Unfortunately for Isolde, Adrian proves considerably harder to murder than anticipated, and the attraction between them makes everything much more complicated.ย
The story continues in Queen of Myth and Monsters, where Isolde must adjust to her new position as queen while political enemies, supernatural attacks, rival goddesses, and secrets from Adrianโs past threaten both their relationship and their kingdom. Queen of Myth and Monsters is officially Book 2 in the Adrian x Isolde series.ย
Dark, passionate, violent, and very much not interested in behaving politely, this series is perfect for readers who like their fantasy romance with teeth.

โค๏ธ Why Sumaia Recommends It
โ โ โ โ โ
I love vampire romances when the fantasy world feels dangerous and the relationship has real tension, and Adrian and Isolde definitely deliver that.
Their relationship starts with distrust, political necessity, and the minor inconvenience of Isolde planning to murder him, then develops into something much more intense.
There is plenty of romance, but also court politics, witches, supernatural threats, betrayal, war, and dark magic, so the story still has enough fantasy around the relationship to keep things interesting.
